A Sevres bisque and ormolu salon clock, mid 19th century; with dial marked Cauchard, in the Louis XVI manner with a central enamel dial with Arabic numerals in a fine engine turned and beaded bezel within a relief moulded plinth and flanked by dramatically posed classical figures gesturing upwards to a putto upon a rock, upon an oval architectural base with ormolu classical mouldings and an engine turned frieze; impressed Sevres mark underside and additional mark.
