A Victorian papier mache and lacquered face screen, mid 19th century, the shaped rectangular screen finely painted in oil in the Romantic picturesque tradition, depicting the Welsh mountain scenery of Snowdonia with two petite figures to the foreground, after a similar scene by Jmw turner, marked faintly lower right 'Approach to Llyn Gwynant', and with a turned and knopped handle, length 39 cm.
