A fine Victorian burr walnut davenport, circa 1870s, of serpentine profile surmounted by a shaped and fitted pen and ink compartment, the green leather tooled plane opening to a partitioned birdseye maple lined interior, raised on decorative knopped supports united by a conforming stretcher and carved and scrolled splay legs.
