A fine pair of Chinese cloisonne covered censers, late Qing Dynasty (later 19th century), of tapering ovoid form in the form of a water dragon with a long neck and a finely moulded and engraved brass face and fan tail, with a domed covers with differing hexagonal patterns over all and brass turtle finials, the body well decorated with fantastic creatures and fish in an underwater garden on an aqua ground.
