A bamboo brushpot with mother-of-pearl and bone, late Qing Dynasty (late 19th to early 20th century), the tall pot with the internode forming the base, finely relief carved with a scholar figure beneath a flowering prunus tree having applied mother-of-pearl flowers and carved bone hands and face with some ink colouring.
