A 'Longquan' celadon vase, Meiping probably Ming dynasty, stoutly potted with rounded shoulders tapering to a waisted foot with square-cut footrim and surmounted by a short slightly tapering mouth, covered overall with a sea-green glaze of even tone pooling in an even line above the unglazed foot burnt orange in the firing, 36.3 cm high
