A carved jade cylindrical brushpot, Bitong, the straight sides carved in relief with a dignitary and five boys, one carrying a lantern, on a rocky ledge above a flight of steps leading to mountain pavilions, and two cranes in flight over a river with overhanging pine trees and cliffs, using an area of bright russet suffusions in the pale translucent stone with some opaque white mottling, 19.5 cm high
