A white jade 'scroll' plaque Qing dynasty, 19th century, of shaped rectangular form, carved as a partly open scroll revealing on the interior a blossoming prunus tree growing from jagged rocks, the exterior depicting Shou Lao with his staff accompanied by his deer walking ahead and his crane flying overhead, approaching two thatched huts beneath a gnarled pine tree in a rocky landscape setting, all carved in relief, the stone of even pale tone, 9.5 cm long, 5.3 cm wide
