A rectangular Russian three-colour gold snuff box, Johann Wilhelm Keibel, 1788-1862, circa 1830, the lid chased with foliate and geometric motifs in diamond shape formation, foliate corner spandrels within a fine foliate line border, the scrolling red and yellow gold leaf border embellished with platinum accents, engine turned base and sides with similarly chased borders and corner panels, inscribed makers mark to box and lid, the rim struck with the number 768, 8.4 cm wide, 91.8 gms
