A Victorian burr walnut davenport, circa 1860, the sloped top with a brass gallery, above a green inset leather writing surface of serpentine outline, the pedestal with four drawers to the side and four sham drawers to the reverse, on turned bun feet. 88 cm high, 55 cm wide, 55 cm deep.
