An Australian World War II special Forces/ Commando dagger made in Australia by Greg steel incorporating the innovative Australian Solution to the continuing problem of the Fairburn-Sykes daggers to have the 3-5 mm point snapping off. the Greg steel has the 'Trade Mark' shouldered or pyramid point. 12 inch blade, nickel plated blade and cross guard. Standard Fairburn-Sykes ribbed metal grip. C/W Australian leather sheath by RG brown (Adelaide) 1943 stamped
