A rare West Australian pond yacht late 19th century, maker unknown built in the suburb of Bayswater between 1897 and 1900, with assistance from a shipwright working in Fremantle. the yacht is cedar and oak planked ribbed construction two masted un-rigged with original fittings and a lead keel This type of model yacht is a replica of the first supply boats used for early settlements, on the upper reaches of the swan and Canning Rivers Perth, until the Fremantle harbour was completed in 1903.
