A rare West Australian pond yacht late 19th century, maker unknown built in the suburb of Bayswater between 1897 and 1900, with assistance from a shipwright working in Fremantle. the yacht is cedar and oak planked ribbed construction two masted un-rigged with original fittings and a lead keel This type of model yacht is a replica of the first supply boats used for early settlements, on the upper reaches of the swan and Canning Rivers Perth, until the Fremantle harbour was completed in 1903. Length 120 cm (Stern to bowsprit) Mast height from deck: 121 cm
