A petite French enamelled perfume bottle, later 19th century. The cylindrical bottle with a hinged lid having a finely painted scene in the manner of Boucher with a shepherd teaching a maiden how to play a pipe within a wooded glade with sheep and a ruin bearing the French inscription, 'Fountain of Truth', with silver gilt mounts and original glass stopper; unmarked. Height 5.5 cm
