A Continental silver and sapphire cigarette case, circa late 19th century, marked 800 and with a Crown only, in the Art Nouveau manner, the squared case of gently rounded form having a trio of natural sapphires grain set as a flower with a simple engraved stem and flourish upon a lightly beaten ground, gilt washed to the interior; hallmarked to the interior rim.
