A Continental silver Beidermeier goblet, circa 1840 Berlin, the covered and inscribed presentation cup of flared goblet form with a lobed lower section upon a baluster stem and spreading base, the shaped lid with finial, having gadrooned bands, embossed and engraved floral and foliate patterns, and a gilt washed interior; hallmarked to base, partly rubbed.
