A Peruvian .900 silver shell shaped dish, mid 20th century, with maker's marks for Welsch, with llama emblem. Embossed as a clam shell with ribs, beading and a scalloped rim, having a shaped gallery embossed with flowers, leaves and scrolls, the whole raised on a trio of liguus shells; hallmarked to underside of rim.
