A Chinese Guangxu mark and period famille rose 'Magpie' bowl (1875-1908), decorated to the exterior with numerous black magpies in flight amidst flowering peach blossom on a yellow-ground, to the interior a single phoenix in iron red. One hairline crack to the interior, hardly visible. Diameter 14 cm
