An extremely rare c. 1880 Chinese export cup and saucer. Bearing an armorial crest decorated in Canton famille rose medallions showing alternating panels of figures and birds, butterflies and flowers, surrounding a central gilded medallion containing a bee. Display stands are not included. Note: the owner of this crest was not found in Howard's armorial porcelain. Book and May be unrecorded. Good condition, some expected wear to enamels and gilding. Saucer dia. 14.4 cm
