A very rare 19th century (possibly 1880) Chinese export plate, bearing the arms for the Waterhouse family. A Canton rose famille central scene of figures in a courtyard taking tea, with turquoise and orange border of boats in a river panorama possibly Guangzhou. Plate bears crest of Waterhouse family and motto 'Veritas Vincit Omnia'. (Truth conquers all things). Good condition, minor wear only
