A French Louis XVI Etruscan-style gilt metal mantel clock, the casket shaped case surmounted by a large urn finial incorporating a Limoges-type porcelain section painted with a Pompadour style portrait of a woman, the case flanked by supports raised on lion's paw feet and incorporating further sections of Limoges-type porcelain, the dial again on porcelain painted with a scene of a young woman in landscape, the dial with Roman numerals in cartouches. Bell striking mechanism. Height 43 cm
