A pair of Georgian sterling silver salts and a pair of Edwardian sterling silver tongs, 1771 London, with maker's mark for Nathanial Appleton and Ann Smith (salts), and 1905 Sheffield with maker's mark for William Griffiths & Sons (tongs), the tri-footed compressed salts with an applied fluted and scalloped rim; the petite tongs with a flared geometric and foliate motif to the stems; all items hallmarked.
