A Chinese Ming style green glaze ginger jar, the main border band decorated with mythical beasts including the sea beast, two rocky promontories to the base, flowers to the rim in highlights of blue, yellow and ivory tones, raised on a ring foot with six underglaze blue character marks within a double circle to the base.
