A rare Royal Doulton 'Chinese Jade' figure group, designed by Charles Noke and Harry Nixon, c.1930, the figure of a woman in hooded robe seated with a small child beside her in front of a fire, the fire highlighted with gilt detail. Script mark, Noke's signature and HNmonogram along with factory mark under the base. Hairline crack under the base and typical fine glaze cracks to the sculpture. Width 11.5 cm, height 10 cm
