An An Egyptian bronze seated figure of Sekhmet, Late Period, circa 664-332 B.C., the lion-headed goddess depicted seated wearing solar disc headdress and uraeus, with finely incised mane, collar & armlets, mounted, 26 cm high. Provenance: Acquired at Sotheby's London, December 20th, 1986, lot 175 Exhibited: On loan to the Museum of Mediterranean Antiquities, Monash University, Melbourne, March 1988 - April 2008
