A pink sapphire and diamond brooch, modelled as a peacock seated upon a textured gold branch, the body composed of a cushion-shaped pink sapphire measuring 17.10 x 13.85 x 10.14 mm, to the circular-cut diamond and gold wirework feather detail, with pink sapphire accents, pink sapphire weighs approximately 25.00 carats, diamonds approximately 1.30 carats total, mounted in 18 carat white and yellow gold, length 6.5 cm . Accompanied by a report from the Gem Studies Laboratory (GSL), Australia, stating that the pink sapphire is of Ceylon (Sri Lankan) origin, with no evidence of heat treatment. Report number AA51923, dated August 12th 2013.
