A Chinese enamelled bottle-shaped vase, Signed Shi Yuchu (1090-1972), Republic period, painted with two butterflies flying about a field of daisies, with stand and box, 16.5 cm high. Pan Taoyu taught Liu Yucen, one of the Eight Friends of Zhushan in the Jiangxi Porcelain Factory School. He in turn taught Shi Yuchu who taught painting in Jingdezhen in the early years of the People's Republic of China
