A Chinese blue and white charger, Wanli Period, Ming Dynasty, the central medallion painted with cranes flying about or resting in a lotus pond, the rim decorated with sketchy birds and flowers, the underside freely painted with two bands of scrolling foliage and birds, a square factory or shop mark to the base, 30 cm diam.
