Superb octagonal lacquer tray. Superbly decorated with mother of pearl (or abalone/paua) cranes within elaborate borders of leiwen (thunder pattern) and floral ruyi chrysanthemum and other designs. Underside undecorated but bearing a mark (possibly Korean). Superb condition. Few scratches and signs of wear to underside. Diameter 27.5 cm
