Magnificent pair of late 19th century Chinese famille rose baluster vases. Decorated with alternating scenes of figures in a courtyard and birds, butterflies and flowers. Gilded lion dog lugs and chameleons on the shoulder. Both vases are glued to custom-made bronze stands. The legs of which are in the form of elephant heads. One chameleon has a small chip to the back. Couple of tiny flakes to underside of both rims. Height Excl. Stand 35 cm. Including stand. 47.3 cm
