Top quality Chinese export saucer dish. Decorated in underglaze blue with the Nanking pattern, a pagoda in a mountain, river scene. Gilded sawtooth pattern border probably added later in England. Note: this is probably the best quality underglaze blue decoration to be found in the period, with 5 cm hairline stemming from a firing spot within the foot rim, not extending to the rim. Diameter 12.5 cm
