A George III oak cased John Westcott of London long case clock, the engraved brass dial with silver chapter ring engraved and black enamelled with Roman numerals enclosing two subsidiary dials for seconds and date, applied decorative cast spandrels, the conforming arch with applied disc engraved with bird in flight below sunset and with 'Tempus Fugit', the case with pronounced mouldings, fluting and quartered pillars, fine checkered banding, plinth base, the eight day movement striking on a gong.
