A good George III tortoiseshell bowfront tea caddy, the flared pagoda form top with a small silver name plate engraved 'Sanderson', the front finely inlaid with mother-of-pearl chinoiserie decoration of florals and stylised building, plain three-quarter columns to the front corners, the hinged lid revealing ivory banded borders, twin tortoiseshell cupboard compartment lids, green velvet lining to the interior lid, all raised on four ivory turned bun feet, minor losses, silver wire detail to the sectional lid. 21 cm x 12.8 cm x 14.5 cm
