N.Z.E.F Charles Te Kiwi Wilkinson (of Otorohanga) was the son of Hariata Te Raurau and George Thomas Wilkinson a Judge of the Native Land Court who had fought in the New Zealand Wars Charles Te Kiwi Wilkinson embarked with the 6th Reinforcements on 15 August 1915 and served at Galipolli.
