A gilt bronze figure of Buddha, Burma,19th century seated in dhyanasana with his right hand held in bhumisparsamudra recalling the moment of enlightenment, and the left in dhyanamudra, wearing a loose robe draped over his left shoulder and arm, the right left bare, the face with eyes inlaid in mother of pearl and well defined features, an inscription across the front of the base, 40 cm.
