A ruby-ground 'famille-rose' landscape vase seal mark of Qianlong the ovoid body painted with a continuous lakeside scene with figures and thatched huts in the foreground and distant mountains, between lime-green and yellow ruyi -head borders, the waisted neck with a frieze of bats and stylised lotus sprays, and the base with further stylised sprays, all reserved on the rich ruby ground, the interior and base covered with turquoise enamel, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark in iron red, cloth stand and box (2) 26 cm
