An iron-red decorated vase, 20th century of tapering shouldered form surmounted by a short cylindrical neck and galleried rim pencilled with formal borders in sepia, the sides painted with a lady smoking a pipe seated in a canopied carriage drawn by a dappled horse, and with a young boy attendant to either side, the details highlighted in gilding, an inscription in black on the reverse with iron-red seals, the base with a mark Hu Ren Tang Zhi in iron-red 36 cm.
