An inscribed landscape vase, 20th century of slender ovoid form, surmounted by a trumpet neck and everted rim, the sides well painted with a figure walking beside trees along the rocky shore in a continuous lakeside scene with distant mountains, between formal borders pencilled in black around the base and neck, an inscription on the shoulders reading Zhang Zhi Tang, Zhu Shan, Jingdezhen, Wu Zhi, the base with an iron-red hall mark Yi tao Zhai 40.7 cm
