A yellow-ground 'famille-rose' saucer dish mark and period of Guangxu with shallow rounded sides painted on the interior with a central gilt shou medallion within peach sprigs, encircled around the cavetto with four further shou medallions each within a circle of five confronting iron-red bats, interspersed with ribboned wan and peach sprays, all reserved on the bright yellow ground, the underside with detached sprays of hibiscus, lotus and peony, the base inscribed in iron-red with a four-character mark, box 15 cm.
