A George II and later red lacquered double domed cabinet on chest decorated over all with oriental figures, birds and butterflies, the cabinet doors opening to reveal an arrangement of shaped shelves and small drawers above a fall front writing slope, above a further two doors opening to reveal shelves and drawer compartments There has been later restoration to the exterior decoration in keeping with the original work. This work was undertaken by expert craftsmen in Germany. 230 x 126 x 42 cm
