Bernard Leach, early St Ives slipware jug, with dark cream slip on a brown ground, impressed mark, height 12.5 cm. Provenance: This jug is reputedly amongst the first ceramics fired by Bernard Leach at St Ives in the 1920s, from the collection of Renton and Rosie Murray, purchased in 1974.
