A Victorian walnut davenport, circa 1880, a serpentine top with a brown leather plane, opening to an elm lined and partitioned interior, and surmounted by a lidded and fitted paper and ink compartment, the body with four small drawers to one side and matching faux examples to the other, and raised upon carved and scrolled cabriole legs.
