Ship cloth featuring a large ship, characterised by a small hull, a central mast with sails and large projections from the prow and stern, 35 x 74 cm. Other Notes: cloths featuring only one ship may have been used exclusively for marriage ceremonies, representing the joining of two families or the Union of male and female elements (Holmgren and Spertus, 1989)
