A George III mahogany fall front bureau, the hinged rectangular fall front opening to an interior fitted with drawers, pigeon holes and a writing surface above four graduated long drawers with brass drop handles raised on bracket feet. 110 cm high, 100 cm wide, 58 cm deep. Provenance: A bequest from Sir Arthur Gordon Rylah (1909-1974), to his daughter and sold by her executors.
