A pair of Chinese carved ivory Emperor and Empress figures, both with ornate headdress, well detailed robes highlighted with a dragon amongst scrolling clouds, the Emperor with a sword to his left hand, holding his beaded necklace to his right, the Empress holds a sceptre to her left hand and tassels to her right. Height approx. 26 cm ea. Raised on turned and pierced carved hardwood stands
