A rare 19th century gesso on wood standing blackamoor female figure, her arms outstretched with flat palms, her exotic costume with original painted and gilded decoration, wearing a turban and Turkish slippers. The figure is supported on the original octagonal column stand with matching painted decoration. In original condition with some honourable wear. Height overall 170 cm
