A Doulton Lambeth stoneware jug, circa 1890, maker's mark electroplate for Emily Partington, of ovoid form upon a circular foot with a narrow flared mottle glazed neck and a strap handle, the body with applied floral and medallion motifs in a muted palette of amber, sage and grey upon a forest green 'lace' ground; impressed marks underside with Doulton Slaters patent.
