An exceptional French neoclassical secretaire à abattant, first half 20th century, finely crafted with a marble top above a frieze drawer and a fall front enclosing seven drawers, open compartments and a tooled leather plane, two cabinet doors below with shelving and squared feet, the whole with exquisite inlay, cross banding and trims in walnut, kingwood and tulipwood, and with gilt paterae and trims.
