Meiji period (1868-1912), an exquisitely painted bowl depicting Ebisu, one of the seven gods of good fortune typically carrying a fish, and surrounded by many attendants, decorated externally with a loose floral band and turbulent waves to the base in enamels upon a cream ground; with seal mark but maker not identified.
