A 19th century Swiss walnut inlaid hall chair, the seat originally housing a musical movement, the shaped pierced, scroll and floral carved back with an oval marquetry panel depicting a goat herder, the serpentine shaped seat inlaid to the centre with three chamois, raised on cabriole legs, decorated with carved edelweiss. Height 92 cm
