Pierre D'Avsen French Art Deco glass bowl blue opalescent glass marked 'P. D'Avsen Made in France' to base, 40 cm wide, 8 cm high. Pierre D'Avsen worked at Rene Lalique's from the age of 14 for 10 years. During this period, he designed Lalique's famous 'Serpent vase as well as the 'Tourbillons vase, two of the most highly priced and extremely collectable pieces by 'Lalique'.
